Bids are to be marked in a sealed envelope and delivered to the Maywood Board of Education, 452 Maywood Avenue, Maywood, NJ 07607, withthe name of the project, "CONTRACT #19.3 - HVAC SYSTEMUPGRADESATMAYWOOD AVENUE SCHOOL", plainly marked on the front of the envelope. Every bid must be accompanied by a certified check or a bid bond in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the bid, but not in excess of $20,000. All bidders and their subcontractors shall be registered with the New Jersey Department of Labor and Workforce Development, pursuant to the Public Works Contractor Registration Act, N.J.S.A. 34:11-56.48 et seq. All bids must be accompanied by a Certificate issued by the New Jersey Department of Labor and Workforce Development, pursuant to the Public Works Contractor Registration Act as to the Bidder and all subcontractors. All bids must be accompanied by a New Jersey Business Registration Certificateissuedby the New Jersey Department of Treasury, Division of Revenue. The Bidder must includewithits bid its own Business Registration Certificate and that of all subcontractors. Pursuant to N.J.S.A. 18A:18A-26, in order to be eligible to submit a Bidfor aProject, theBidder and/or its subcontractor shall be classified by NJDPMC in at least one of thefollowingdisciplines as listed with the associated project: C032 HVACR The Maywood Board of Education reserves the right to reject any or all bids andwaiveanyinformality in the bidding process in accordance with the law if it is in the best interest of theBoardof Education. The contract, if awarded, shall be awarded to the lowest responsible bidder whosebid is responsive in all material respects to the bid requirements. No bid shall be deemedaccepteduntilthe adoption of a formal resolution by the Maywood Board of Education.
