McClure St. / Hazel Way Sewer Separation - Home All work under this Contract will be performed within McClure Street and Hazel Way within the Borough of Homestead, Allegheny County, Pennsylvania. The Borough is located in south-eastern Allegheny County along the southern bank of the Monongahela River, approximately five miles southeast of the downtown area of the City of Pittsburgh. The work under this project includes the furnishing of all labor, materials, and equipment required for the performance of all work as indicated in the Contract Documents. The work essentially includes construction of a "New" Separate Storm Sewer System, including, but not limited to the following: a. The performance of all work in full accordance with OSHA and all other applicable safety standards, b. The performance of all related and required traffic control, including, but not limited to all signage, approved detour routes, flaggers and all other related and required work, in full accordance with Penn D.O.T. requirements. c. Construction of all required PVC Pipe, complete in place d. Construction of New Pre-Cast Concrete Manholes, complete in place, including Cast Iron Frame, Cover, Steps Poured Concrete Invert and all other related and required appurtenances. The Construction of New Pre-Cast Storm Inlets, complete in place, including Cast Iron Frame and Cover. (No Steel or Concrete) and connection to new Storm Sewer. e. f. The Re-Connection of Existing Storm Inlets and Catch Basins to the New Storm Sewer. g. The Boring under existing facilities where required (two locations), complete in place including Steel Casing Pipe and all other related appurtenances. (By Others, Not in this Contract). h. All required connections and re-connections to all new and existing pipes where specified and required, and/or sealing of existing pipes to be abandoned. i. The placement of Bituminous Pavement Restoration where required. j. The Restoration of Concrete Curb and Concrete Sidewalk where required. k. The Restoration of Lawn and other such areas where required. 1. The Construction/Reconstruction of Penn D.O.T. Approved Concrete Handicap Ramps where specified and required. m. All other related and required appurtenances and all other site restoration, landscaping. n. All other related and required work. o. NO Night Time Work shall be required under this Project. The Owner referred to in these Contract Documents shall be the Borough of Homestead. The Engineer shall be defined as Glenn Engineering & Associates, Ltd.
