Marion County Utilities is soliciting fully licensed and qualified firms to submit bids for Annual Water Service Installations/Replacements throughout Marion County. The work includes the installation of water services and associated appurtenances to enable the County to service commercial and/or residential units being built that require a water connection or replacements of existing services. The project is located throughout Marion County, Florida. The intent of this project is for the installation of water services and associated appurtenances to enable the County to service commercial or residential units being built that require a water connection or replacements of existing services. There is no minimum or maximum quantity guaranteed under the award of this contract. These services will vary in size (not to exceed 2-inch in size), length complexity and locations. The successful bidder will be responsible for all permits unless stated otherwise within this document and must be licensed by Marion County and State of Florida to perform such work. . Project Manager for this project is James Barber of the Marion County Utilities Department. The work included in this section is hereby defined as furnishing all labor, equipment and materials, and in performing all operations and procedures necessary for the installation of water service: saddle, corp stop, service line, casing, curb stop, meter box, and any other work in accordance with the specifications itemized below and the following drawings and documents:
