The purpose of this project is to provide improvements to Murray Lane, including its intersection with Holly Tree Gap. This intersection currently functions as a three-way stop. The construction of a single-lane concrete surface roundabout will eliminate the three-way stop and mitigate congestion during peak hours of travel. An award, if award is made, will be to the lowest responsive, responsible bidder on the Total Base Bid per the bid proposal form. All contracts shall be awarded to the lowest and best bidder, taking into consideration the qualities of the articles to be supplied, their conformity with specifications, their suitability to the requirements of the local government, and the delivery terms. Any and all bids may be rejected for good cause. Question Deadline 01/30/2024 at 2:00 PM CT, Question Response Deadline: February 6, 2024, 2:00pm. All questions about the meaning or intent of the Bidding Documents are to be submitted to Owner and Engineer in writing. Interpretations or clarifications considered necessary by Owner and Engineer in response to such questions will be issued by Addenda delivered to all parties recorded as having received the Bidding Documents. Questions received less than four days(96 hours) prior to the date for opening of Bids may not be answered. Only questions answered by Addenda will be binding. Oral and other interpretations or clarifications will be without legal effect.
