The City of Cheney is requesting Statements of Qualification (SOQ) and performance information from individuals and firms interested in providing electrical engineering services to the City of Cheney. Examples of the types of city electrical engineering services to be provided include, but are not limited to, the following: technical consultations and reports, review of development plans, primary and secondary distribution system design,
testing, etc. The engineer or firm selected to provide city electrical engineering services will do so on an as-needed basis contracted with the City of Cheney. The City of Cheney hereby solicits SOQ's for city electrical engineering services. Any individual or firm wishing to submit a SOQ must be registered as a professional engineer pursuant to the provisions of Chapter 18.43 R.C.W. SOQ's shall include (1 ) a letter of interest (limited to 3 pages); (2) an outline of the suggested approach to perform electrical engineering services; (3) a listing of the individual's or firm's experience in performing electrical engineering
services ( limited to 10 pages); (4) experience performing electrical engineering services of similar nature by the individual(s) or firm staff who would be assigned to perform electrical engineering services (limited to 10 pages). Evaluation of the SOQ's and selection of the qualified electrical engineer individual or firm will be done in accordance with Chapter 39.80 R.C.W. The City reserves the right to select more than one individual or firm to perform the services
solicited herein based upon the qualifications of the individual applicant(s). Execution of a contract with any individual(s) or firm(s) for any city electrical engineering services solicited herein shall be contingent upon obligation of city funding.
