This project will replace the existing power feeder to all the 14 wellhouses (East and West) within Southwest Wellfield. In addition, new liquid-filled transformers will be installed in concrete slabs located above the flood elevation determined by WASD for this site. This project is important to provide continuous raw water to AOWTP. The existing feeder and electrical equipment are reaching their useful life, in order to prevent a failure, the feeders will be replaced to mitigate the loss of raw water to AOWTP.
