Concrete Repairs to Briggs Pool - The City of Attleboro is requesting bids to repair leaks at the outdoor Fred E. Briggs Memorial Pool located at 36 East Street, Attleboro, MA. The project would entail converting the current single trunk line into 4 individual trunks and remove the existing return lines and replacing with new returns. Prep, place and finish new concrete (mason). Remove the existing return lines and replacing with new returns. The project would entail converting the current single trunk line into 4 individual trunks with the following steps: a. Saw cut approximately 200' of the concrete apron (mason) b. Remove approximately 1,400 square feet of the apron (mason) c. Excavate to expose the existing piping (mason) d. Remove and replace existing piping with 4 lines (plumber) e. Remove and replace existing skimmer lines as well (plumber) f. Backfill (mason) g. Prep, place and finish new concrete (mason) Project would need to be completed during the spring of 2024 and prior to the opening of the pool season which will be approximately June 21st .
