Reference Number 0000262833 Question Acceptance Deadline 2024/02/13 12:00:00 PM EST Perform 4 annual maintenances and 1 quinquennial maintenance on the UofT St. George Campus Emergency generators subject to the list in Table 1 located in the appendix. All work to be in accordance with CSA C282-19. Please be advised that the tables provided in the appendix may contain certain inaccuracies and should be utilized solely as a reference guide. It is imperative for contractors to conduct their own due diligence concerning pricing and other pertinent details. Coolant type, oil type, and date of last quinquennial maintenance are listed in Table 1 of the appendix. Quinquennial service shall be scheduled such that 5 years do not pass between quinquennial maintenances. Under no circumstances shall the OEM approved coolant and/or OEM approved oil type be substituted for a third party product without written permission from UofT. Perform electrical maintenance on Automatic Transfer Switches (ATSS) listed in Table 2 located in the appendix. All ATSs listed have a bypass feature that will allow for isolation and test of the transfer switch mechanism. The following tests shall be completed where de-energization is permitted: 2.1.2.1 Visual inspection and cleaning 2.1.2.2 Torque check on power components 2.1.2.3 Mechanical inspection and lubrication of mechanical components 2.1.2.4 Transfer mechanism from normal to emergency, and back to normal 2.1.2.5 Insulation Resistance tests (@1kVdc) on each pole/contact 2.1.2.6 Resistance measurements on all power connections in each state using a low resistance ohmmeter Exact quantity of coolant required and any part numbers for items such as filters, instrumentation, hoses, belts, etc. shall be determined during the site visit. The University of Toronto reserves the right to charge back any time spent on re-validating the requirements for any consumables required as part of the maintenance activities. CONTRACT DETAILS Five (5) years contract. Estimated commencement date: July 2024 Substantial Completion: March 2029 Insurance (1) Supplier Shall, at Its Sole Cost and Expense, Take Out and Keep in Full Force and Effect at All Times During the Term, With an Insurer Acceptable to the University: (a) Occurrence Based Comprehensive Commercial General Liability Insurance With a Limit in an Amount of Not Less Than $2,000,000 Per Occurrence. Such Insurance Will Include Coverage for Personal Injury Liability, Bodily Injury Liability, Advertising Injury Liability, Products and Completed Operations Liability, Blanket Contractual Liability (Including Liability for Damage to or Losses Relating to Performance by Supplier of Its Obligations Set Forth Herein), Property Damage Liability (Including Liability for Damage to or Losses Relating to a University Location and Any University or Other Third Party Chattels, Property, Merchandise, Trade Fixtures, or Monies), and Business Interruption Relating to the University's Operations. (B) All Risk Property Insurance Reflecting Full Replacement Values and Including Full Business Interruption Values. Such Insurance Will Include Coverage for Damage to or Losses of Chattels, Property, Merchandise, Trade Fixtures, or Monies That Are Owned by Supplier or That It is Responsible to Insure (Including Those Located Within Any University Store or Other University Location From Time to Time, and Any University Owned or Leased Property for Which Supplier Has Agreed to Be Responsible) and Business Interruption Relating to the Business Operations Conducted by Supplier. (C) a Commercial Automobile Liability Insurance Policy for All Owned, Non-owned and Hired Vehicles With a Minimum of $2,000,000 Combined Single Limit for Bodily Injury and Property Damage. Non-owned and Hired Vehicle Coverage May Be Included Within the Commercial General Liability Coverage Above. (D) Professional Liability (Errors and Omissions) Insurance in an Amount of Not Less Than $2,000,000 Per Occurrence. (E) Privacy and Data Security (Also Known as "Cyber Liability", "Network Security" or "Technology Errors and Omissions") in an Amount of Not Less Than $2,000,000 Per Occurrence.
