This Request for Tender is an invitation by the City of Niagara Falls to prospective Bidders to submit a bid for the Roof Replacement at Fire Station #4, 8696 Banting Ave, Niagara Falls Documents can be obtained at: https://niagarafalls.bidsandtenders.ca Question Deadline: Fri Jan 26, 2024 2:00:00 PM (EST) Bids must be submitted electronically to: https://niagarafalls.bidsandtenders.ca The selected Bidder must be prepared to commence the work within four (4) business days of award. Project completion estimated date is April 12, 2024. Work on this Project may be performed between 7:00AM to 7:00PM Monday to Friday. All overtime or premium hours of work that may be incurred in the execution of the Work must be accounted for and included in the Total Lump Sum price. Roofer is responsible for all electrical and mechanical work within the scope of work. All electrical penetrations associated with the various mechanical units on the roof top are required to be flashed through the new roofing system using gooseneck style metal flashings. If electrical lines are too short, extensions are required. All rusted rooftop equipment shall be painted with two coats of rust inhibiting paint. DESCRIPTION OF WORK 1.1.1 The Scope of Work shall be as outlined in the attached specification. It is intended that the Work so described is complete in that typographical errors or omissions will not impart a partial or incomplete aspect to the Work. Any such situation must be brought to the Owner via a question submitted to Bids&Tenders prior to the question deadline identified in the bid document. 1.1.2 The Work listed herein shall constitute the furnishings and installation of all roofing materials, insulation, fasteners, metal work, and other materials deemed to be a part of the overall system as specified in the accompanying drawings, documents, and specifications. 1.1.3 The Contractor shall provide all superintendence, labour, equipment, and materials necessary to the orderly, competent, and expeditious completion of the Work. While Work is in progress, the Contractor must maintain site superintendent capable of acting competently on-site instructions given by the Owner or their duly appointed representative. A copy of all specifications, drawings, written instructions, and changes in the Work shall be kept on site by the Contractor and shall be available for reference as required. Award subject to final approval.
