0000262807 Manitoba Liquor & Lotteries (MBLL) requires a supplier to provide services for exterior and interior sign installation maintenance and repair. Exterior and Interior Sign Maintenance and Repair Services will be required at 37 Liquor Marts in Winnipeg, Manitoba and 27 rural Manitoba Liquor Marts. The term of any resulting agreement from this RFSO shall be for a period of three (3) years from the date of commencement. MBLL shall have the option to extend Contract for up to two (2) additional option terms of one (1) year each. The Contractor shall supply all material, labour, supervision, necessary tools, ladders and equipment required for the proper performance of maintenance and repairs on MBLL owned exterior and interior signs. EXTERIOR SIGN INSTALLATION SPECIFICATIONS
a) Raceway must match colour of the building exterior.
b) LED lights must be of the latest technology and proven premium quality. LED components must have a minimum extended two year warranty.
c) LED parts must be Lummi Ficient, Sloan, Gelco or equivalent. MBLL shall be the sole decider of equivalency.
d) Light value must meet or exceed the appearance of white Neon.
e) The Contractor must submit a sample LED with product information specifications for approval before use in MBLL signs.
f) Power Supply for exterior signs must be rated for cold weather.
g) Channel depth to be determined by manufacturer and must achieve even lighting at plastic face.
h) Trim cap Letters with aluminum channel and backs. Letter edge or Channelume construction are not acceptable.
i) Lens – 3/16” pigmented White Plastic.
j) Plexiglass 7328 or equivalent with Black Channel painted with polyurethane paint.
k) Liquor Mart colours are PMS 124 Gold, PMS 246 Purple, White, and Black.
l) Electrical conduits shall not be run on the facia of the building. INTERIOR SIGN INSTALLATION SPECIFICATIONS
For interior neon signs located on the bulkheads the following shall apply:
a) All permanently attached neon signs must have hard-wired service.
b) Transformers must have hi-power to suit.
c) Flexible cord will not be permitted to the transformer. Refer to Canadian Electrical Code 4-010 on use of flexible cord.
d) Signs must be 16 inch high. The maximum height and length must fit within a 3 foot area. Manufacturer shall determine optimal size. MBLL reserves the right to amend or cancel this competition at any time and is under no obligation to accept or act upon the lowest or any submission.
