**As of March 12,2024, project was awarded, start date henever the weather is fine and will be completed by Nov 30, 2024.** The scope of work generally consists of completing and placing into operation one (1) 24-inch diameter public water supply well (Well #5) capable of a minimum sustained pumping rate of 2,000 gallons per minute (gpm). The well was previously drilled, and development work was completed in May 2023. Work in this contract includes completion of the well including submersible pump installation, drop pipe, pitless unit and all necessary equipment to complete well installation. The well building and electrical work will be completed under separate contracts. The project is located in the NW 1/4 T139N R62W, approximately 3.5 miles south of the existing SRWD Water Treatment Plant. The well is located approximately 5 miles south of I-94 Exit 269, 9 miles east of Jamestown, North Dakota in Stutsman County, North Dakota. The Owner reserves the right to hold all bids for a period of 61 days after the date fixed for the opening thereof, and to reject any or all bids, and to award the Contract, if awarded, to the Contractor with the Bid that is determined to be in the best interest and most advantageous to the Owner. Each BID must be accompanied by a separate envelope containing a copy of a current and valid North Dakota Contractor's License (must have been issued at least 10 calendar days before the date of Bid opening) and a BIDDER's Bond equal to five percent of the full amount of the BID, executed by the BIDDER as Principal and by a SURETY, conditioned that if the Principal's BID is accepted and the CONTRACT awarded to the Principal, the Principal, within fifteen days after notice of award, shall execute a CONTRACT in accordance with terms of the BID and a CONTRACTOR's BOND as required by law and the regulations and determinations of the Stutsman Rural Water District.
