Reference Number 0000339949 The City of Solana Beach is seeking a Request for Proposal (RFP) from professionals experienced in providing security patrol services, restroom lockup, and alarm monitoring at City facilities. Typical duties will include a uniformed officer (un-armed) to patrol, in a marked security vehicle, at the locations listed below on a rotational basis throughout the night. The locations in the City of Solana Beach include: FACILITYADDRESS La Colonia Park/ Heritage Museum/ La Colonia Community Center715 Valley Avenue Fletcher Cove Park/ Marine Safety Center111 Sierra Avenue Fletcher Cove Community Center133 Pacific Avenue City Hall635 South Highway 101 Public Works Maintenance Facility1764 Highland Drive Security Officer shall report illegal and/or suspicious activities to the San Diego County Sheriff. Nightly reports shall be submitted to the Public Works Operations Manager. The Security Officer must have a valid Driver's License. It is anticipated that the service will be scheduled every day (Sunday - Saturday) from approximately 10:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m. and shall begin on July 1, 2024. The contract shall be for one year and include an option to renew it for up to an additional four years.
