Demolition, site work, paving and new construction of a bridge / tunnel in Owasco, New York. Completed plans call for the demolition of a bridge / tunnel; for the construction of a bridge / tunnel; for site work for a bridge / tunnel; and for paving for a bridge / tunnel.

The work includes providing all labor, materials, machinery, tools, equipment and other means of construction necessary and incidental to the completion of the work shown on the Plans and described in these Specifications including, but not necessarily limited to the following: The project consists of replacing the existing bridge carrying Jericho Road over Putnam Brook with a new steel multi-girder superstructure. The superstructure will be supported on cast-in-place concrete integral abutments founded on micropiles. Approximately 260 feet of approach highway will be reconstructed as part of the project. Traffic will be maintained on an off-site detour during construction. The project will also require the relocation of approximately 120 feet of a water main to accommodate the bridge reconstruction. The DBE goal for this project is 6%. All bids are subject to final review and approval by the Cayuga County Board of Legislatures before any award of contract may be made.
