AS of February 16, 2024, project is not yet awarded. Anticipated award date is on February 27,2024 DESCRIPTION The Chequamegon Bus Garage is located at 611 9 th Street, Park Falls, WI 54552. Mr. Kevin Schuelke is the Maintenance Supervisor and may be contacted regarding a pre-bid job site inspection; phone 715-762-2474 ext 2237. A. The project will consist of roof repair or replacement for the 94' x 99' unheated section of the Chequamegon School District Bus Garage. B. The Contractor must maintain in force during the performance of the contract, including any warranty periods: Worker's Compensation Insurance as required by Wisconsin Statutes for all employees engaged in the work for the District, Motor Vehicle Insurance for all owned, non-owned and hired vehicles, Comprehensive General Liability Insurance for bodily injury and property damage, including Products Liability and Completed Operations coverage, that will protect Chequamegon School District from all claims of bodily injury, death or property damage which may arise from the performance of the contract. The insurance shall be at least $1,000,000 per occurrence, $2,000,000 aggregate. The winning bidder shall, within five (5) days of contract approval by the Chequamegon School District Board of Education, provide a certificate of this insurance. C. The Chequamegon School District and Board of Education reserves the right to reject or accept any bids based on the best interests of the District. Substantial completion date of August 14, 2024. General Scope of Work: The selected contractor will be responsible for providing the following services: A. Initial Assessment: Conduct a comprehensive inspection of the existing roof to identify any damage, leaks, or structural issues. B. Recommendations: Provide detailed recommendation(s) for either repairing or replacing the roof, including a cost-benefit analysis for each option presented. C. Submit a detailed and itemized bid for the proposed work, including all materials, labor, and any potential additional expenses. D. All materials removed off the roof shall be disposed of by the Contractor following proper local disposal codes and regulations. E. Warranty: Upon completion and final inspection by the roofing manufacturer, provide the Chequamegon School District with the manufacturer's warranty. *The value for this project is based on a financial range. The value is listed as the highest possible cost from the range provided by a stakeholder or official project document.
