Horticulture including planting and removal services and nursery services and orchard and vineyard management or maintenance services and parks management and maintenance services and tree trimming and mulching 70111 Removal services for ornamental plants or bushes or trees including tree and shrub removal services and lop and scatter and chaining and harrow and bull hog. Lindon City is looking for proposals from qualified and certified tree maintenance contractors regarding the Lindon City Public Works Tree Removal and Pruning Project. Proposals will only be accepted for contractors who are, and/or employ ISA Certified Arborists. Description of the project and the scope can be found in RFB 2024-020. Bid Notes: The general rules and conditions which follow apply to all formal solicitations and resulting purchase orders or other awards issued by Lindon City, unless otherwise specified. Bidders or their authorized representatives are expected to fully inform themselves as to the conditions, requirements, and specifications before submitting proposals. Failure to do so will be at the Bidder's own risk and cannot secure relief on the plea or error. Disputes or appeals on all proposals or contracts shall conform to Lindon City Code. Lindon City (Owner) is soliciting this bid to acquire Professional Tree Services for the Lindon City Public Works Tree Removal and Pruning Project. Response is to be a "Sealed Bid" to be opened at the date and time designated. It is the intent that proposed unit that will perform the work required, with the best safety features, at the best value for the City. When applicable, available local service and maintenance will be given priority. Demonstration of the proposed equipment will also weigh into the choice of purchase, when applicable. Owner Rights: Lindon City (Owner) reserves the right to reject any and all proposals should the proposal prices and/or any other submissions differ on the copies of the submitted proposal. Owner reserves the right to waive informalities in proposals. The owner reserves the right, in case of Vendor default, to procure the services and/or material from other sources while holding the defaulting Vendor responsible for any excess costs occasioned thereby. Owner shall determine the amount of work satisfactorily performed by the Contractor and Owner's evaluation shall be used as a basis to determine the amount of compensation due the Contractor for this work. Termination by the Owner for cause, default, or negligence on the part of the Contractor shall be excluded from the foregoing provision; termination costs shall not apply. Owner reserves the right to make award on all items, or on all the items, which are in the best interests of the Owner. Bond Notes: If any section or the sum of any sections of the bid equals or exceeds $100,000, Contractor will provide performance and payment bonds for the project. If bid bonds were tendered with the proposal, the Owner may exercise its right to collection.
