This contract is for furnishing all labor, equipment and materials required for completing tank modifications, including roof replacement, preparing interior and exterior surfaces, and applying protective coatings to all interior and exterior surfaces of the two 25,000 gallon, 18 foot diameter, 14 foot high Wolfback Ridge welded steel water storage tanks. The work to be done is located in the City of Sausalito within the County of Marin, California. Each Bidder is requested to return the entire specification booklet. The Bidder must include a certified check, cash, cashier's check or bid bond shall be not less than ten (10) percent of the total amount of the bid and shall be payable to the Marin Municipal Water District No contractor or subcontractor may be awarded a contract for public work on a public works project unless registered with the Department of Industrial Relations pursuant to Labor Code section 1725.5. Within five working days after the bid opening date for this project, the three apparent lowest bidders shall submit a credit report, current within 30 days of the bid opening date for this project. This project is subject to compliance monitoring and enforcement by the Department of Industrial Relations. The prevailing rate of wages in the locality in which work is to be performed has been ascertained by the District and published under the provisions of Section 1773 of the California Labor Code. The District reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive any irregularities in said bids.
