SUMMARY: Berkeley County is requesting proposals to provide five (5) new effluent weirs for the primary clarifier at the Lower Berkeley Wastewater Treatment Plant. The weirs shall be constructed from stainless steel. The supplier shall provide delivery of all materials for installation of the weirs. 2. EFFLUENT WEIRS: QUANTITY FIVE WEIR SYSTEM a. Weirs shall be adjustable in height +/- 25mm with Thomson overflow v-notches. Designed for longitude assembly in the tank. The weir dimensions are square shaped by 550x550x550 mm;t=3 mm; length: 22,860 mm. Each weir shall be placed along the tank and mounted to the service platform and support beams. b. The manufacturer or its authorized representative shall verify proper fit of weir assemblies prior to production. 3. MATERIALS AND SURFACE TREATMENT: Stainless steel EN1.4404 (AISI316) below and/or above water is delivered passivated. Fasteners such as screws, nuts, bolts, washers, etc. will be delivered A4 classified. Anchor bolts will be for chemical fastening and delivered A4 classified. 4. ADDITIONAL ITEMS: Vendor shall supply the following: a. One (1) set of submittals b. One (1) Operation & Maintenance manual c. One (1) year warranty from start-up.
