The Work consists of the following: Constructing an approximately 1,500 square foot Addition on the West side of Gentry Middle School to provide a Kitchen Serving space. The Building Addition includes concrete footings, load-bearing CMU block walls with steel bar joist and steel decking. The Building Addition will be clad in brick veneer to match the existing. Three new openings will be cut into the existing exterior walls to provide a connection from the school to the Addition. The Kitchen Serving space will include new Food Service equipment and a resinous flooring system with integral cove base. The plumbing Scope of Work will support the new Food Service equipment. The Mechanical system will include a new roof top unit and new exhaust fan to serve the space. The electrical work includes all new light fixtures and outlets which will be fed from a new electrical panel LPC-L in the nearby Kitchen 1006. Requests for interpretation (RFI) or clarifications of the Bidding Documents shall be submitted by the Bidder in writing no later than 12:00 pm local time on February 9, 2024.
