El Paso County is seeking written proposals from qualified and experienced firms to provide consulting services, including all necessary labor, materials, and equipment, to develop a plan to prioritize areas in El Paso County that need ADA improvements and develop an implementation program that will allow the focus of work to key areas on a variety of roads in El Paso County. The plan will work to identify priority criteria, improvements, and develop scopes and cost estimates. The Project will prioritize and plan for required improvements and carry out an ADA Compliance Program. Improvements will be designed and constructed based on the implementation plan. The current ADA infrastructure system contains around 7457 curb ramps, 751 miles of sidewalks, and 3823 intersections with pedestrian crossings. Ancillary to the ADA infrastructure system are approximately 1,159 total centerline miles of paved roadways maintained by the County.
