Reference number: 1799468 Deadline for receiving complaints: 2024-01-31 Expected duration of the contract without options (in months): 2 Université du Québec à Montréal is seeking tenders to redesign individual examination rooms located on the ground floor of the Thérèse-Casgrain Pavilion (W) to meet the needs of sound insulation and accessibility. It is currently a room (W-R575) with 7 cubicles separated mainly by prefabricated walls. The objective is both to optimize acoustic insulation by integrating partitions going up to the slab, and to promote accessibility by increasing the dimensions of certain cubicles and circulation. This space will now have 8 cubicles, and will be enlarged to allow for better accessibility. These changes will also impact the existing electromechanical system which will affect all W-R565, W-R575, and W-R580 premises. The present project to redevelop the individual examination rooms in Pavilion W therefore consists of: the demolition of existing partitions, the construction of new slab-to-slab acoustic partitions, the modification of ceilings and the relocation of electromechanical equipment such as lighting, ventilation, sprinklers, fire protection and others, the installation of new doors, frames and hardware, Patching floor finishes and baseboards, patching and finishing walls.
