Demolition, site work and asbestos abatement for a mixed-use development in Kamloops, British Columbia. Completed plans call for the demolition of a residential development; for site work for a residential development; for asbestos abatement for a residential development; parking garage; parking garage; and parking garage.
This contract will be delivered in up to two phases. Phase 1 encompasses the abatement, removal, and disposal of hazardous materials from the house and garage at 2240 Westsyde Rd, Fish Trap Rapids, BC. All abatement work is required to be completed and the invoice submitted by the Phase 1 completion date, 18 March 2024. Phase 2 services are conditional pending confirmation of funding in the 2024/25 fiscal year, First Nation consultation, and at the discretion of the Ministry. Phase 2 involves the full demolition of the house and garage structures. Confirmation of Phase 2 funding is expected in late spring 2024. The contractor must not begin Services on Phase 2 until written confirmation has been received from a Ministry representative. Phase 2 services are required to be completed and the invoice submitted by completion date, 1 October 2024. Documents can be obtained from www.bcbid.gov.bc.ca
