Posted 07/31/2024 Bid Tabulation Project: MT NP GLAC 14(6), Swiftcurrent Spur Road Rehabilitation NPS PMIS NO. 259122 Final pavement recommendations specific to only parking area expansions included in Swiftcurrent Spur Road Rehabilitation project are amended in this memorandum. The amendments are made due to concerns for funding and the expectation for traffic to be significantly lower than that of Many Glacier Road as presented in Final Pavement Memorandum. Based on conversations with Glacier National Park, the parking area expansions are expected to receive negligible truck traffic (inclusive of transit bus traffic). The Final Pavement Memorandum is attached to this current report as Appendix A. Recommended pavement design for rehabilitation of Many Glacier Road, from Many Glacier Hotel intersection to Swiftcurrent Motor Inn, remains unchanged.
