Hamilton County Department of Facilities is requesting quotes for providing on-site normal hours and after-hours drywall repair/plaster repair and painting work when in-house staff is unavailable on a T&M basis for January 31, 2024 through December 31, 2024. Please send all questions to: Hamilton County Facilities Attn: John Nester 1000 Main Street Suite B-95 Cincinnati, OH 45202 jnester@cms.hamilton-co.org O:513-946-5035 C: 513-413-5547 The scope envisioned would be to provide time and material type assistance on standard Drywall/Plaster Wall Repair and Painting scope of work in the Hamilton County Department of Facilities managed buildings such as: Courthouse, 800 Broadway, Administration Building, Jobs and Family Services, Environmental Services Building, Juvenile Youth Center, Communications Center, Patrol Headquarters, Coroner Crime Lab, Planning & Development Garage, Animal Shelter, 525 Northland Bldg. and 230 East Ninth as needed. This work will be awarded to the lowest and best bidder. The Owner reserves the right to award to the lowest and best single bidder for both disciplines or to two separate lowest and best bidders for each discipline. The low contractor must be qualified to perform plaster repair work on historical buildings. The awarded contractor will be required to provide a full Hamilton County Background check (local, BCI and FBI) for each employee entering the building unless they have undergone all three checks and been cleared by the Sheriff's Department. The awarded contractor shall provide a Certificate of Liability Insurance and Workers Compensation Certificate according to the Insurance Requirements attached. All work on site shall follow the Hamilton County Safety Guidelines which are attached. This work is not required to be prevailing wage work for this bid. Work may include Drywall/Plaster regular time repair work and overtime repair work and/or Painting regular time repair work and overtime repair work, please fill out the Bid Form appropriately. There is no guarantee on the amount of work that may be awarded from this bid, but the County is looking for a firm willing to work with them on a 24/7 normal and after-hours basis when in- house staff needs assistance or is unavailable. The required response time after a call is 24 hours.
