Scope of Project: The Madden Ln Reconstruction project generally involves the following improvements along Madden Ln from Martindale Rd to Mykawa Rd: Clear and grub both sides of the road which includes heavy trash pickup and removing brushes. Asphaltic concrete full depth reconstruction which includes asphaltic concrete, base and subgrade. Installation of monolithic curb and gutter, flush curb/gutter and doweled curbs. Construction of 9-inches thick high early strength reinforced concrete pavement (HES) at the intersection of Martindale Rd. Construction of 6 to 7-inch thick HES reinforced concrete driveways. Limited installation of concrete sidewalks and wheelchair ramps. Installation of 8-inch water line and fire hydrants and related appurtenances. Installation of storm sewers ranging from 24 to 36-inch RCP including manholes and inlets. Limited replacement of 4'x2' RCB, 5'x4' RCB, and installation of one junction box. Construction of swales (southern side of roadway) and rain gardens (northern side of roadway). Rain garden includes a 4-inch perforated pipe and 6" drainage layer. Installation of 12-inch sanitary sewer. Installation of pull boxes and street lighting conduit. Installation of proposed thermoplastic pavement markings and signage. Planting of trees and irrigation.
