NAVFAC Solicitation No.: N4008524R2550 NAVFAC Specification/Drawings: Work Order No. 1665824 Title: P-1289 Ordnance Operations Support & Inert Storage Replacement Location of the Work: NAS Oceana, Virginia Beach, VA Description of the Work: Base The 8(a) Small Business Design-Build/Design-Bid-Build Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) Multiple Award Construction Contract was awarded to provide firm fixed price task orders for general construction projects in the Hampton Roads area of responsibility (AOR). It is the intent of this Request for Proposal (RFP) to provide criteria for evaluation of proposals submitted in response Naval Facilities Engineering Systems Command Mid-Atlantic (NAVFAC MIDLANT) RFP N4008524R2550 for Project Number 1665824, a Design-Build project including the following: This project will design and construct new building 2019 - Ordnance Operations Support building for Navy Munitions Command, Det Oceana. This new building will provide appropriate facilities necessary for the execution of the Navy Munitions Command mission. The site is located on the south side of Weapons Road approximately 450 feet west of the bituminous access road to the magazine complex. The building site is bound by Weapons Road and roadside ditch to the north, grassy open areas to the east, south and west. There is existing overhead electric and underground water main readily available and underground communications on the north side of Weapons Road that could service this building. A new sewer pump station and sewer force main will be required to connect into the existing gravity sewer system nearly 3,000 feet away. The existing gravity system is located approximately 250 feet northeast of 9th Street. Pre-Proposal Inquiries (PPIs): Offerors who determine that the technical and or contractual requirements of this RFP require clarification(s) in order to permit submittal of a responsive proposal shall submit all questions in writing. All inquiries shall be submitted via email to Abigail at no later than, seven (7) calendar days prior to proposal due date. Additionally, all inquiries shall be submitted using the Pre-Proposal Inquiry (PPI) form (Attachment C). Do not submit the same inquiry more than once. Please verify that inquiries submitted by you on behalf of your subcontractors are not duplicates. A response will be published via an amendment by email to MACC holders. Estimated Price Range: In accordance with FARS 36.204 (g), Disclosure of the Magnitude of Construction Projects, the estimated price range for this project is between $5,000,000 and $10,000,000 *The value for this project is based on a financial range.
