***Apparent low bidder from previous bid opening - Engineered Fluid Inc. - $1,854,617 Projects consisting of a new prefabricated water booster station; chlorine gas equipment; standby generator; concrete foundations, slabs and sidewalks; demolition of existing station; approximately 175 L.F. of 16-inch PVC water main, 220 L.F. of 12-inch PVC water main, 140 L.F. of 4-inch PVC drain piping, as well as the necessary valves, fittings, taps, and all other related work as specified and shown on the drawings. The BIDDING DOCUMENTS, consisting of Advertisement for Bids, Instructions to Bidders, Bid, Bid Bond, Agreement, Notice of Award form, Notice to Proceed form, Construction Performance Bond, Construction Payment Bond, Sample Certificate of Insurance form, Application for Payment form, General Conditions, Supplemental General Conditions, Change Order form, Technical Specifications, Addenda, and Drawings, may be examined at the following locations: Rural Lorain County Water Authority 42401 State Route 303 801 Corporate Drive LaGrange, OH 44050 GRW Engineers, Inc. 801 Corporate Drive Lexington, KY 40503 . Bids shall be accompanied by a bid bond in the amount of 10% of the bid or certified check in an amount equal to ten percent (10%) of the bid to ensure the execution of the contract for which the bid is made. In case the bid is not accepted, the check or bid bond will be returned to the bidder, but if the bid is accepted and the bidder shall refuse or neglect to enter into a contract with the Rural Lorain County Water Authority within ten (10) days after the time he has been notified of the acceptance of his bid, the said check or bid bond shall be forfeited to the Rural Lorain County Water Authority as liquidated damages for the failure to do so. No bidder may withdraw his bid for a period ofninety (90) days after closing time scheduled for the receipt of bids.
