Renovation of a transportation facility in Ontario, Oregon. Completed plans call for the renovation of a transportation facility.
The scope of this project is to provide all transportation, freight, tools, equipment, labor, permits and materials to prep and paint six (6) individual buildings including 6 bay doors, and house #22 at the Basque Station, and 7 bay doors at the Jordan Valley Station. Substantial Completion Date: 10/31/2024 Final Completion Date: 10/31/2024 Liquidated Damages. Failure to achieve Substantial Completion by the time specified above for Substantial Completion will result in damage to OWNER. Since actual damage will be difficult to determine, it is agreed that CONTRACTOR shall pay to OWNER, not as a penalty but as liquidated damages, $100.00 per calendar day for each day elapsed in excess of the Substantial Completion date specified in Section 3 of this Agreement until Substantial Completion is achieved.
