Description of the Work: a. The Owner Will Receive Bids for the Replacement of Existing Ballasted EPDM Roofing Systems. The Work Will Include: Removal of Existing Ballast and Membrane; Preservation of Existing Roofing Insulation, Providing an Additional Layer of Roofing Insulation, New Membrane and Flashings, New Ballast and Re-use of Concrete Walkway Pavers. Basis of Bids: a. Bids Will Be a Single Contract, Stipulated Sum. Time of Completion: a. The Work Will Commence on April 1, 2024 and Be Performed Such That the Project Will Be Substantially Complete as Indicated in the Document 00 31 13 - Preliminary Schedule. Bid Security: a. A Bid Security in the Amount of 10 Percent of the Total Bid is Required.
