This project consists of all necessary labor, equipment, tools, and materials to demolish and remove from site existing bathtubs/showers and their replacement with new showers in 18 apartment bathrooms located in buildings A, B, C, and D. Bond is required and may be submitted on the combined Bid Guaranty and Contract Bond form provided in the bid documents, executed by the bidder and by a surety company authorized to do business in the State of Michigan and accepted by the U.S. Treasury. Bid bond shall be for an amount not less than five percent (5%) of the sum of the base bid plus all add alternates. Contract bond shall be for an amount not less than one hundred percent (100%) of the sum of the base bid plus all add alternates for the faithful performance of all work required by the contract documents and for payment for all labor, materials and other sums as required under the contract.
