Bedford Township Housing Commission Bathroom Renovations The bid and contract documents are on file, for inspection, at the office of Bedford Township Housing Commission and at the office of Buehrer Group Architecture & Engineering, Inc. Bond is required and may be submitted on the combined Bid Guaranty and Contract Bond form provided in the bid documents, executed by the bidder and by a surety company authorized to do business in the State of Michigan and accepted by the U.S. Treasury. Bid bond shall be for an amount not less than five percent (5%) of the sum of the base bid plus all add alternates. Contract bond shall be for an amount not less than one hundred percent (100%) of the sum of the base bid plus all add alternates for the faithful performance of all work required by the con-tract documents and for payment for all labor, materials and other sums as required under the contract. Before submitting a proposal, the bidders may visit and inspect the site of the work. If bids are sub-mitted by mail, place bid in a sealed envelope and identify as noted above and place sealed bid in a mailing envelope, addressed to the Bed-ford Housing Commission, with Sealed Bid Enclosed and Bathroom Renovation indicated on the mailing envelope.
