Project Rebid on 3/19/2024 at 11:00 AM Bathroom Renovations - furnishing the necessary labor, equipment, tools and materials for bathroom renovations for Bedford Township Housing Commission. This project consists of all necessary labor, equipment, tools, and materials to demolish and remove from site existing bathtubs/showers and their replacement with new showers in 18 apartment bathrooms located in buildings A, B, C, and D. Work includes demolition of the tub, grab bars, tile and drywall, shower fixtures, and associated plumbing and construction of new shower, grab bars, drywall/cement board, shower fixtures, and associated plumbing. This project consists of all necessary labor, equipment, tools, and materials to demolish a A. ALTERNATE 1 n Additional Bathroom Renovations 1) Alternate #1 work scope includes the demolition and replacement of an additional bathtub/shower located in building A, B, or C. This alternate may be accepted up to 9 times. See drawings for locations and additional information. B. ALTERNATE 2 n Additional Bathroom Renovations Previously Renovated 1) Alternate #2 work scope includes the demolition and replacement of an additional bathtub/shower located in building B, C, or D that was previously renovated. This alternate may be accepted up to 3 times. Bond is required and may be submitted on the combined Bid Guaranty and Contract Bond form provided in the bid documents, executed by the bidder and by a surety company authorized to do business in the State of Michigan and accepted by the U.S. Treasury. Bid bond shall be for an amount not less than five percent (5%) of the sum of the base bid plus all add alternates. Contract bond shall be for an amount not less than one hundred percent (100%) of the sum of the base bid plus all add alternates for the faithful performance of all work required by the contract documents and for payment for all labor, materials and other sums as required under the contract. Refer to Instructions to Bidders. Bidders will be required to provide evidence of experience with similar projects. Before submitting a proposal, the bidders may visit and inspect the site of the work. Minimum wage rates for this project have been predetermined as required by law and are set forth in the bid documents (HUD/Davis-Ba-con and related Acts.) The Owner reserves the right to waive informalities, to accept or reject any and all bids, or parts of any and all bids. If bids are sub-mitted by mail, place bid in a sealed envelope and identify as noted above and place sealed bid in a mailing envelope, addressed to the Bed-ford Housing Commission, with "Sealed Bid Enclosed" and "Bathroom Renovation" indicated on the mailing envelope. **Document Notes: Electronic copies are available at no cost. The bid and contract documents are on file, for inspection, at the office of Bedford Township Housing Commission and at the office of Buehrer Group Architecture & Engineering, Inc. All work shall be completed within 180 days
