The project consists of water main replacement work described in general by the following Schedule 1A: 3,420 LF of 12-inch PVC water main replacement in Broadwater Avenue from 11th to 16th Street West, including fittings, valves, hydrants, service reconnections, and associated work. Schedule 1B: 360 LF of 8-inch PVC water main replacement in 13th Street West north of Broad water Avenue, including fittings, valves, hydrants, service reconnections, and associated work. Schedule 2A: 1,680 LF of 12-inch and 8-inch PVC water main replacement in North 18th Street north of 6th Avenue North, including fittings, valves, hydrants, service reconnections, and associated work. Schedule 2B: 1,170 LF of 8-inch PVC water main replacement in North 17th Street and 8th Avenue North, including fittings, valves, hydrants, service reconnections, and associated work. Schedule 3: Five water distribution system isolation valve insertions or replacements on or near 4th Avenue North, including one new hydrant lateral, and associated work. Each bid or proposal must be accompanied by a Certified Check, Cashier s Check, or Bid Bond payable to the City of Billings, Montana in an amount not less than ten percent (10%) of the total amount of the bid. Successful Bidders shall furnish an approved Performance Bond and a Labor and Materials Payment Bond, each in the amount of one hundred percent (100%) of the contract amount.
