Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Sycamore, Illinois. Completed plans call for site work for a military facility; sidewalk / parking lot; for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot; and water / sewer project.
The scope of work provides for replacing the existing asphalt civilian parking lot with concrete pavement. This work includes, but is not limited to, re-striping, replacement of sidewalks, curbing, and proper drainage as required. In addition, work also includes pavement patching of the east driveway and new conduit under new pavement in the parking lot. Prequalification Bidders must be prequalified with CDB; allow 45 days for application processing. For an application and a copy of CDB s Standard Documents for Construction (applicable to this project), Prevailing Wage. Contractor shall not pay less than the prevailing rates of wages to all laborers, workmen, and mechanics performing work under this contract, and shall comply with the requirements of the Prevailing Wage Act (820 ILCS 130/1-12).
