This project includes; Sitework, Utilities and Septic System, Site Lighting, Security System, Chain link Fencing and Gates, Site-wide Generator, Lawn Irrigation & Landscaping, Asphalt/Concrete Drives, Parking & Striping, New Fuel Tanks & Monitoring System, IT/Data Systems, Water Recycling System, GPS Monument, TxDOT Sign Monument, New Maintenance Office, Shop & Wash bay Building, New Equipment Shed, New Fuel Island with Canopy and other items as identified throughout the plans and specifications. ESTIMATED COST: $10,386,659.40 BID GUARANTY or BID BOND: $100,000.00 PROJECT ID #:09-380421313-REBID COUNTY: DISTRICT: OFFICIAL DATE OF ADDENDUM: NEW MARLIN AEM FACILITY TEXAS DEPARTMENT OF TRANSPORTATION 09-380421313-REBID Question Deadline 02/06/2024. ALL questions regarding this project's proposal documents MUST be submitted in writing. Written questions must be submitted electronically. Written responses anticipated to be posted no later than FEBRUARY 14, 2024 HAND DELIVERY shall be submitted in a sealed envelope addressed as above and placed in the DROP BOX located in the vesitbule at the front entrance of above address. CAUTION: There may be more than one drop box in the vestibule area. Use the appropriate drop box labeled: SSD - Facilities Planning & Mgmt. Building Contract Bids & Documents Preliminary bid results meet the basic criteria for submission and are considered accepted bids pending verification. Bid results will be posted on the SSD-Facilities Letting Business Page (listed below) within 48 hours after letting. Official bid tabulations will be posted after all bid proposals have been validated and approved. Contract time for the work to be completed in full will be 625 calendar days. Pre-qualification of contractors on facility contracts is waived; however, the Uniform General Conditions included in each proposal document outlines specific requirements for contract award. This project estimate is greater than or equal to $100,000; therefore, the use of a HUB Subcontracting Plan (HSP) is required and must be submitted with proposal package. Award or rejection of this project will be made by the Texas Transportation Commission typically scheduled on the last Thursday of each month. The contract for this work will not be awarded to any contractor, firm or subcontractor currently debarred from bidding on Texas Department of Transportation projects. Usual rights reserved. Bidders are cautioned to study carefully the Standard Conditions documents for compliance with these requirements. The right is reserved by the Texas Transportation Commission to reject any and all proposals. Contractor must bid all Bid Items as called for on the plans and in the specifications. All bids received will be retained by the Texas Department of Transportation and will not be returned to bidders. Conditional bids will not be considered. The Texas Department of Transportation hereby notifies all bidders that the applicable State Laws prohibiting discriminatory practices in bidding and awarding this work
