SNC reserves the right to accept or reject all or part of any Bid and also reserves the right to accept other that the lowest Bid and to cancel this Call for Bids at any time. South Nation Conservation (SNC) is planning to complete erosion control and streambank restoration along the South Nation River in Oak Valley, Inkerman, North Dundas Township. SNC is seeking a qualified contractor to complete the construction of the pre-designed project. The proposed project includes site preparations and tree removal from the banks of the South Nation River. Reshaping and excavating will be completed along the banks of the South Nation River to reduce erosion and bank slumping. Terraces along the river will be shaped, seeded, and covered with erosion control blankets. Finally, live staking and a conifer bank treatment will be applied Bidders may only contact Michelle Cavanagh, Team Lead, Special Projects in writing only, by email at mcavanagh@nation.on.ca related to this Request for Quotes Bidders with questions related to this RFQ, finding errors in, or omissions from the Document, or having doubt as to the meaning or intent of any part of this Document, must contact the SNC contact before 4:00 p.m. on January 25, 2024.
