**As of April 17,2024 project was awarded but awarded amount is not available.** The Project generally consists of erosion and sediment control, demolition, earthwork, storm inlet construction, installation of approximately 1,400 L.F. of storm piping with end treatments, construction of flumes and gutters, concrete and asphalt paving, associated striping and landscaping for drainage improvements between the Bailey Center and Tom Drake Coliseum. The Owner requires the Project to be substantially complete in 180 calendar days from the date that the Contract Times commence to run as indicated on the Notice to Proceed. The total contract duration to be completed and ready for final payment is 210 calendar days. In order to Bid on the Project, the Bidder shall possess a valid General Contractor's license for work in the State of Alabama. The Contractor's license number shall be clearly indicated on the outside of sealed Bid envelopes. Bidder and its Subcontractors shall comply with all applicable licensing requirements of the Code of Alabama, federal and local Laws or Regulations. A cashier's check or bid bond payable to the Owner in an amount not less than five (5) percent of the amount of the bid, but in no event more than $10,000, must accompany the bidder's proposal. The Successful Bidder will be required to furnish the additional bond(s) and evidence of insurance as prescribed in the Bidding Documents. Your Bid will be required to be submitted under a condition of irrevocability for a period of 60 days from the date of the opening of Bids. The Owner reserves the right to accept or reject any or all Bids and to waive technical errors if, in the Owner's judgement, the best interests of the Owner will thereby be promoted.
