To achieve that goal, the City aims to have welcoming, clean and safe aquatic facilities open to the public that provide Cottonwood residents with opportunities for social interaction, exercise and recreation. Resurfacing of the pool would improve community livability by creating a safe and inclusive environment that provides support for an active live-work community and excellent aquatic facilities for the public. The City of Cottonwood is soliciting sealed proposals for Pool Resurfacing from an experienced individual/firm with direct experience in these services. The City of Cottonwood is requesting proposals for the resurfacing of its indoor pool of Cottonwood Recreation Center located at 150 S 6th St. Cottonwood, AZ 86326. The scope of work shall include but is not limited to the removal and disposal of the existing pool surface, applying new surface, retiling and PebbleSheen textured finish. The contractor is also responsible for the completion of the project from start to finish including preparation, demolition, installation, curing, initial cleaning, and water treatment. The following items are the minimum requirements for this project. All proposals will be for a fully delivered resurfacing meeting the following minimum specifications and requirements. Any deviation or exceptions must be clearly noted and explained and included with your submitted proposal. Please review the evaluation criteria for additional information. The pool size is approximately 60,000 gallons. The pool was constructed in 2010 and has not been resurfaced since the original construction. This project has a budget of $225,000. Potential Offerors should raise any questions about the RFP at that time. An Offeror may not rely on any verbal responses to questions at the Conference. Material issues raised at the Conference that result in changes to the RFP will be responded to by City through a written Solicitation Addendum.
