Lead Hazard Reduction & Healthy Home Intervention 332 Berkeley Ave, Waterbury, CT. Two separate bids required. Install handrail with blocking and returns to code The interior ofthe dwelling along with the exteriors have been comprehensively tested for lead-based paint. Toxic levels of lead-based paint were identified on various components and surfaces. There are no known lead-based paint abatement orders on the inspected building. NOTE: Each Proposal over $50,000.00 submitted shall be accompanied by a Proposal Security (a Certified Check or Bid Bond) in the amount of ten (10) percent of the Total Proposal Price. The Bidder to whom a contract is offered, must furnish to the City, if that contract has a total cost greater than $50,000, a 100 percent Performance Bond with a surety company acceptable to the City and in a form acceptable to the City. In the City's sole discretion, it may also require a 100 percent Payment Bond and/or other additional security with a surety acceptable to the City and in a form acceptable to the City. All questions about the meaning or intent of the Bid Documents must be submitted to the City Procure Ware website by 2:00 PM January 31, 2024.
