This sourcing evening is to increase the number of POOL A General Contractors, General Contractors approved to perform General Contracting from $150,000 to $400,000. On-Call General Contractor Building Construction Services. Including but not limited to; remodel, demolition, upgrade, new construction and rehabilitation of County owned properties. Suppliers who do not currently have access to the Multco Marketplace Supplier Portal will need to complete the "MMP Supplier Access Request Form. In order to allow the County sufficient time to review your request, the MMP Supplier Access Request form should be completed no fewer than 5 days prior to the Sourcing Event closing date. You Must Be a General Contractor With Multiple Disciplines to Submit a Response to This RFP. The contract term shall be an initial two (2) year term. The County shall have the option to renew this contract for an additional four (4) year period or until a project started under this contract has completed, whichever is later. The effective date of the contracts shall be approximately June 2024 or the date on which each party has signed the contract, whichever is later. Unless earlier terminated, the termination date of all contracts issued under this RFP shall be six (6) years from the initial, first contract execution, approximately May 2030. County reserves the right to terminate the negotiations and initiate contract negotiations with the next highest scoring responsive and responsible Proposer. The County reserves the right to award a contract to the responsible Proposer(s) that has/have met the minimum Proposal requirements and has /have received the highest total score(s) for the technical Proposal requirements. Multnomah County reserves the right to alter the anticipated stages and/or make an award at whatever stage the most advantageous Proposer(s) has been identified through this process. Multnomah County reserves the right at its sole discretion, to reconduct, reorder, reschedule or cancel individual Stages or the entire solicitation, by written notification to all affected parties via the Q&A Board for the Sourcing Event .
