Construct AC grind and overlay, PCC sidewalk, curb ramp, curb and gutter per Project Plans. Provide and install fully functional and tested traffic signal system per the Project Plans, install City provided signal poles and mast arms, traffic cabinet and service/battery up cabinet at identified locations on the Project Plans. Coordinate with various utilities for their installations. The City reserves the right to reject any or all Bids, to waive any irregularity, and award contracts in the best interest of the City WORK SCHEDULE: The Project or Work is anticipated to begin in October of 2024. The Project or Work must be completed within sixty (60) working days after the commencement date stated in the Notice to Proceed. This Project will have a Notice to Proceed for Material Procurement and Utility Location Verification issued, the material delivery of the long lead items shall be completed within one hundred and eighty (180) working days after the commencement date stated in the Notice to Proceed. CONTRACTOR'S LICENSE: The Contractor shall possess a valid California Class A contractor's license from the time the bids are due and throughout the entire term of the contract. All Fiber Optic Cable work shall be performed by a California C-10 licensed contractor/subcontractor providing proof of employee certification by the Electronics Technicians Association, Inc. (ETA) as either Certified Fiber Optics Installer (CFOI) or Certified Fiber Optic Technician (CFOT) for all individuals who will be performing the actual work, this individual(s) to be considered experienced the individual(s) must have successfully installed at least one thousand (1,000) connections, have inspected at least one thousand (1,000) fibers with Optical Time Domain Reflectometer (OTDR) and have taken at least one thousand (1,000) end to end attenuation tests.
