The City of Riverside ("City") is seeking a qualified Traffic / Transportation engineering firm, entity or individual ("Company") to provide services for the development of fifty (50)
individualized pedestrian and bicycles safety circulation action plans and customized safe routes to school reports for each public elementary and middle schools citywide ("Services"). The successful proposers should have significant experience preparing focused active transportation school circulation plans and studies of comparable complexity and scale. The City anticipates awarding one (1) contract to a team with a minimum of two (2) firms (minimum one (1) firm shall administer the services for each school district) to perform the services. There are two school districts in the City of Riverside - Riverside Unified School District ("RUSD") and Alvord Unified School District ("AUSD"). There are 35 schools in RUSD and15 schools in AUSD. Per the Caltrans Sustainable Transportation Planning Grant Program guidelines, all project deliverables shall be completed before April 30, 2026.
