Site work and paving for a road / highway in Centralia, Illinois. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; and for paving for a road / highway.
Sealed Bids should be labeled "ROADWAY IMPROVEMENTS I SECTION 21-00108-01- RS" on the outside of the bid submittal envelope. The proposed work shall consist of roadway improvements to S. Sycamore, S. Pine, E. 7th, and E. 5th St. Improvements include surface milling, HMA resurfacing, and other miscellaneous work to complete the project. All bidders must be a pre-qualified IDOT contractor. Within 24 hours after the letting, the two low bidders must file an Affidavit of Availability indicating all uncompleted contracts awarded to them and all low bids pending award for Federal, State, County, Municipal, and private work. All proposals must be accompanied by a proposal guaranty. The City of Centralia, Illinois, reserves the right, to reject any or all bids and to waive any informalities or technicalities in the bidding.
