In an effort to preserve the ecological services Denver's urban tree canopy provides to the community, the City is actively planting new and replacement trees throughout public property within the City and County of Denver such as parks, parkways, public office space, within public right-of-way, etc. On an as-needed basis, on-call Contractors will install/plant trees and also provide establishment watering for the new trees. The City anticipates awarding a contract to multiple contractors, and it's anticipated that awarded contracts will have a maximum compensation up to $3,000,000 over a three-year term (dependent upon the number of contracts awarded).
