Renovation of an educational facility in Libertyville, Illinois. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.
Ceiling, Lighting and HVAC Renovations at Libertyville High School Board of Education, Com- munity High School District 128, Vernon Hills, Lake County, Illinois, hereinafter known as Owner, is seeking bids for the renovation project of Ceiling, Lighting and HVAC Renovations located at Libertyville High School in Libertyville, Illinois. It is the responsibility of the Bidder/Contractor to attend and sign in at the pre-bid conference and site inspections. Failure to attend and sign-in at the pre-bid conference and site inspections shall result in the rejection of any bids submitted by those non-attending Contractors. This will be the only time that the Contractors shall be allowed escorted access to the project site. The Board of Education, Community High School District128 reserves the right to reject any and all bids or parts thereof, to waive any irregularities or informalities in bidding procedures, and to award the contract in a manner best serving the interest of the School District. All Bidders must comply with Illinois Revised Statutes,1981, Chapter 48, Section 39s-1 through 39s-12, requiring the payment of prevailing wage rates to all laborers, work men and mechanics working on publicly-funded projects. If during the time period of work, these rates change, the contractor shall be responsible for additional costs without any change to the contract amount
