Removal and Replacement of Carbon Dioxide Tank and Related Appurtenances The contract will cover removing the current 30-ton carbon dioxide tank, vaporizer, primary regulator, and heater and replacing with a suitable 30-ton carbon dioxide tank, vaporizer, primary regulator, and heater that will satisfy the current and future needs of the Water Utility. The bid must include a brief work plan, describing how the Contractor will complete the work. 1. Remove 30 ton carbon dioxide tank, vaporizer primary regulator and heater 2. Refrigerated 30 ton carbon dioxide tank 3. Non-Refrigerated 30 ton carbon dioxide tank 4. Vaporize 5. Primary Regulator 6. Heater The contract will be awarded at the February 2024 Neenah Water Commission Meeting. Work must be completed, and the system fully commissioned by July 12, 2024. No bid shall be received or considered unless accompanied by a certified check equal to five (5) percent of the bid or bid bond in equal amount payable to the City as a guarantee that, if the bid is accepted, the Bidder shall execute and file the proper contract and bond within ten days from the date the responsible bid is accepted. In case the Bidder fails to file such contract and bond within the time set by the City, the check or bid bond shall be forfeited to the City as liquidated damages. All Contractors bidding on this contract shall be prequalified before award. The City of Neenah Water Utility is seeking a qualified supplier to furnish and install the equipment required for the replacement carbon dioxide storage tank and related system components (see the System Requirements section). Selected supplier shall remove existing equipment and replace with new equipment as specified herein. The system, as specified herein, shall be furnished by a supplier, with at least five (5) years of prior experience in supplying carbon dioxide systems of the type specified.
