Site work for a water / sewer project in Cincinnati, Ohio. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.

This contract shall be used only to request work to include rehabilitating sanitary and combined gravity sewers using cured-in-place pipe technology. The scope of work also includes cleaning and televising all sewer sections, reestablishing service lateral connections, and making various point repairs as required to facilitate lining Questions or requests for additional information regarding this solicitation shall be directed in writing to the assigned City of Cincinnati Buyer, Kelvin Huseman, via email at msd.procurement@cincinnati-oh.gov. A Bid Bond, deposit of cash or Certified Check, Bank Cashier's or Bank Official's Check drawn on a solvent bank payable to the Treasurer of the City of Cincinnati, in the amount of not less than ten percent (10%) of the total amount of the bid must accompany each bid as a guarantee that if the bid is accepted a contract will be entered into. The successful bidder will be required to provide performance surety in the amount of 100% of the contract value The contractor shall secure delivery of all equipment and materials required and shall complete on site work by December 31, 2024. Unless otherwise specified in the Bid Document, the City reserves the right to accept any item in the bid. Unless otherwise stated in the Bid Document, Bidders may submit bids on any item or group of items, provided, however, that the unit prices are shown as requested. Award provisions are set forth in the Bid Document. The amount of liquidated damages to be paid by the contractor for each and every calendar day that he is in default shall be based on the table provided in the Detailed Provisions (Section 3). This contract is or may be subject to the Wage Enforcement provisions of the Cincinnati Municipal Code. These provisions require that any person who has an agreement with the city or with a contractor or subcontractor of that person shall report all complaints or adverse determinations of Wage Theft and Payroll Fraud (as defined in Chapter 326 of the Cincinnati Municipal Code) against the person, contractor or subcontractors to the Department of Economic Inclusion within 30 days of notification of the complaint or adverse determination. Under the Wage Enforcement provisions, the City shall have the authority, under appropriate circumstances, to terminate this Agreement or reduce the incentives or subsidies to be provided under this Agreement and to seek other remedies. There is a 2% SBE goal assigned to this project. The City reserves the right to waive informalities not inconsistent with law or to reject any or all bids.
