The work includes: demolition of the reinforced concrete slab on metal deck / structural steel ramp structure, railings, canopy, and appurtenances; construction of the new cast-in-place reinforced concrete ramp with new railings; infill of select window openings; and site restoration. An add alternate is included for the replacement of the metal stairs with cast-in-place concrete at the side of the library.
