Tennis Court Repair and Resurface Scope of Work: Byron P. II Steele H.S. located at 1300 FM 1103 Cibolo, TX 78108 1. Repair and resurface eight (8) existing tennis courts. 2. Remove tennis nets and store for reinstallation. 3. Clean surface to remove all dirt, mildew, and debris. 4. Repair all cracks and other surface defects before applying a new surface. 5. Minimize standing water. 6. Apply minimum of two (2) coats of re-surfacer. 7. Mark all tennis courts to meet District and United States Tennis Association (USTA) Court standards. 8. Reinstall tennis posts and nets. 9. Clean work area for inspection by the district. Work to be completed by no later than July 31, 2024. PERFORMANCE AND PAYMENT BONDS. (Over $100,000/$25,000) Pursuant to Tex. Gov. Code 2253.021 (formerly V.A.T.S. Art. 5160), Contractor shall furnish performance and payment bonds payable to Owner in the amount of the Contract Price in order to guarantee satisfactory performance of the Work and proper payment of workers, subcontractors and material suppliers. The bonds shall be issued by a U.S. surety acceptable to Owner, which is qualified to conduct business in Texas. The bonds shall be executed on the forms attached to this Contract and executed or countersigned by a Texas resident agent.
