Site work and paving for a civil project in Boonton Township, New Jersey. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; and water / sewer project.
The work includes the furnishing of all labor, materials, and equipment necessary to complete the work as shown on the Drawings and as described in the Specifications. The work is located along Wootton Street from Green Street to Oak Street within the Town of Boonton and includes milling, paving, and general road maintenance work, including curb and storm basin repairs as well as ADA ramp construction. The work shall be completed within 180 calendar days of the Con-trac-tors receipt of written Notice to Proceed. Any request for interpretations shall be made in writing, addressed to Mott MacDonald, 412 Mt. Kemble Ave, Suite G22, Morristown, New Jersey 07960, and, to be given consideration, must be received at least twelve (12) days - Saturdays, Sundays and holidays excepted - prior to the date fixed for the opening of bids No bid will be received unless in writing on the forms furnished, and unless accompanied by bid security in the form of a bid bond, cashier s check, or a certified check made payable to the Town of Boonton in an amount equal to 10% of the amount of the total bid, but not exceeding $20,000. Bidders and their subcontractors of any tier must comply with all applicable provisions of the Public Works Contractor Registration Act (N.J.S.A. 34:11-56.48) and the New Jersey Prevailing Wage Act (N.J.S.A. 34:11-56.25).
