The City of Scotts Valley (City) invites proposals from qualified environmental consultants to provide environmental analysis of the Scotts Valley Town Center Specific Plan Update (Specific Plan Update) pursuant to the California Environmental Quality Act. The City initiated the Specific Plan Update in the Fall of 2023 and the update is currently underway. The environmental review will happen concurrently with the Specific Plan Update. Written Questions Due December 29, 2023 Answers to Questions January 5, 2023. Notice to Proceed After March 6, 2024. Provide a scope of work that responds to the tasks outlined herein with an estimated timeline to complete each task with a targeted completion of September 30, 2024. The award of the contract is anticipated to take place during the City Council meeting on February 21, 2024; although this date may be changed in order to meet City milestones. CONSULTANT represents and warrants to CITY that it has all licenses, permits, qualifications, insurance and approvals of whatsoever nature which are legally required of CONSULTANT to practice its profession. CONSULTANT represents and warrants to CITY that CONSULTANT shall, at its sole cost and expense, keep in effect or obtain at all times during the term of this Agreement, any licenses, permits, insurance and approvals which are legally required of CONSULTANT to practice its profession. Consultant shall maintain a City of Scotts Valley business license. The City shall have the right to terminate The Professional Services Agreement at any time upon giving fifteen (15) days written notice to Consultant. Consultant may terminate the Professional Services Agreement upon written notice to City should the City fail to fulfill its duties as set forth in the Agreement. In the event of termination, City shall pay the Consultant for all services performed and accepted under the Professional Services Agreement up to the date of termination The method of Contractor Selection has not been Determined at this time.
